Rochester (NY) Christian Reformed Church.

Sunday evening we managed to get a bunch of us together for an outdoor communion service on the little rise behind the church. Family groups stayed well apart from each other, and farther if you didn’t want to wear a mask while singing. (It works, but feels something like singing into a kazoo.) Rather than pass the bread and wine/juice each family brought their own.

It was good to be back together. For those who could not get to, or felt uncomfortable getting to, the outdoor gathering, we had a second service via Google Meet on Wednesday. Strange measures for strange times. 

I took pictures before and after, and a couple during the service, shooting from the waist. I manage to hold the Brick level and at the right angle. I inadvertently left my light meter at home, but it was definitely a sunny-16 evening. I had an amber filter on the Argus C3 to pull the ASA 400 HP5 Plus down to ASA 200.

Without a filter the Argus runs out of shutter speed with ASA 400 on bright days. F/16 is as tight as it will go, and 1/300 is its shortest exposure. When the camera was designed in the 1940s, ASA 400 was considered extremely fast film.
